Who can ever forget all the bashings and hate when he barely said goodbye in twitter a day before his enlistment (If you do forget about it, don't even dare to call yourself a Clouds)? A few months ago, he creates an instagram account. I judge poorly all the users of instagram and oh now my Yesung is using it too. SMH -___-" And yesterday, surprise surprise, a personal facebook page! Like, really, is he calling for hate?
SJ is irrelevant and almost every single members are receiving hate (or worse, abandonment) by SK netizens. Yesung was hated with people barely know his face or ever once heard of his name before. Okay, blame Leeteuk for that time (I will never forgive him ok) since Yesung got all the unnecessary attentions that hurt even his family members because of the so called leader (read this old post of mine) . But this time, I really amazed of my bias's bravado.
Perhaps he's turning his blind eyes and deaf ears to what SK netizens might react over all the publications of his private life right now. They are never once cares shit of him, except when he's 'clumsy' enough to get himself hated (the fat girl opinion and the flag shirt incidents). But his solo songs and musicals were always doing good, because his talent itself made people 'forget' who he actually is (hello K-netizens, this amazing singer is an SJ member! *cue gasp* *the whole SK gasp*). The fact that he's working as a public servant (gongik! ew) is already forgotten and now none in SK knows who he is again. Means no1curr, no one hates or bashes him. I guess now that he's a public servant, K-netz are not viciously watching over him anymore since PS is not supposed to get restricted or anything, or SM is doing a good job not to let any news of Yesung's new SNS accounts out in SK. Peaceful evenings for my cute bias to visit his cafe and does business meetings.
I can only think that Yesung has had the peace with himself and the k-netz. Probably he's over all the bashings already since the bashers were only brainless people who didn't even make efforts in hating him (not knowing anything except the fact that he's from SJ--i mean if i hate someone, i will make efforts in knowing every single thing about them so that i can bash them 'accurately' and not making a fool of myself lol), hence signaling that those people do not 'really' hate him. So instead of wasting his time mourning and being mad about those haters (like i still did most recently, poor biased girl i am), he chooses to embrace the small amounts who still love him.
It has always been his fear to be left by his fans, right? He talked about that fears any chance he got so there's no doubt about it. And if his stage's MIA for 2 years could make some of his fans runs away, he has SNS to keep them around. He's got almost all the precautions needed now. Haters will hate (i wonder how K-netz are reacting to the news of Yesung's facebook i haven't read anything the time i post this), so keep all the ones who love you loyal to you by SNS. That way, he maintains his fans with his super gorgeous selcas and cute engrish even though he's absent from the stage. Real ELF (read: people who loves ALL the SJ members including Shindong--shout out to any Shindong biased out there^^) will never forget him and will still be updated about him. He will has less fears of being left by Clouds or ELF now, hopefully.
But to be REALLY honest, seeing his selcas now always make me feel that i don't know him ever, at all. Those ugly hats, ugly sunglasses that cover almost all of his face, hip hop clothes & necklaces and smug expressions... is not the him i've always adore. I don't like that style because i prefer him to be his cute self with beanie, no huge sunglasses, and a goofy smile on his face. I guess (read: desperately hope) this smug hip hop style is temporary. I can barely look at his twitter anymore these days, and by the recent posts on his FB page, oh yeah think i will not really grow fond of that, too. Luckily i have thousands of his old pictures in my laptop. I should just reminisce the good ol' days instead of mourning about the new style.
I hope i was wrong and he'll put different things, more interesting and BETTER things than his hip hop selcas on his new FB page.
